Abstract

The process of digitization of literary texts and scientific philological heritage in Polish literature plays a significant cultural and educational role, which is clearly indicated in the activities of the “Polonistic Bulletin”. Literary materials of the electronic edition became the subject of research in this publication. The Digital Center for Humanities of the Institute of Literary Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences reflects the main scientific trends in the development of modern Polish literary studies, Polonistics and comparative studies.

Center for Digital Humanities, which builds the structure of the newsletter, has several important aspects of development in this direction. First of all, this is the section “Articles and Interviews”, which includes modern articles on literary topics and archival materials, as well as interviews with writers, publishers, Polonists, literary experts.

In order to deepen literary competences in Polish language classes, the following methodological techniques should be used: formation of cultural and, in particular, literary tastes on the basis of materials learned in Polish language classes or proposed for learning; drawing parallels between several literatures on the Ukrainian-Polish cultural border; study of the Polish language in various styles and genres based on classical and modern literary examples; systematization of literary material thanks to the digitization of works from various historical periods of the development of Polish literature (textological competences); familiarization with examples of Polish literary criticism, dissemination of the terminological base of future professional philologists; comparison of Polish originals with their translated versions in order to develop translation competences; formation of personal qualities of students based on samples of Polish literature included in the program of learning Polish as a foreign language.

In the modern period of literature development, audio books, video materials, electronic textbooks and methodical developments, international projects, digital collections of poetic works, interactive methods of learning material, etc., play an important role. Thanks to the expanded database of the “Polonistic Bulletin”, this program can be successfully implemented in practice. The projects “Geopolonics - a virtual bridge between cultures” and “The female side of poetry, or through poems to language” deserve special attention, which includes the study of the works of Wisława Szymborska and other contemporary Polish women poets.

In the future, digital technologies will become the dominant direction of the development of Polonistics, both literary and linguistic. Therefore, the activity of the Bulletin is aimed at technological progress in the development of philological sciences, including Polonistics.
