The author examines the author’s model of the world “Memoirs ...”, which has accumulated the artistic system of the Polish nobility, the model of the romantic memoirist and the writer-positivist. The artist’s elaborate artistic construction is an emotional and at the same time intellectual reception of the world with a powerful nostalgic discourse. The artistic model of the memoirist prankster gravitates to the realistic method, to objectivism and typology. The author painstakingly amasses historical information, his own observations and witness stories. The memoirist exaggerates the text with numerous introductory plots, details, reflections of a retro- and prospective nature, which collectively become a kind of material for exposing the author’s “I” against the background of social and historical events. The structure of the artistic space of the romantic memoirist is reflected in the images of ancient Poland and youthful experiences. T. Bobrowski, arranging the work on the slope of life, tried to formulate his memoirs with the utmost impartiality, but the experiences of the author’s period of study, based on sensory perception, leave a significant imprint on the artistic model of the described world, romanticising it and giving an exceptional character. It is noted that the memoirs are filled with nostalgic discourse and manifest themselves in the longing not only for childhood, but also for the noble grandeur that filled the land and space of the Right Bank. The artist, arranging “Memoirs ...” at the end of his life, selects the material in such a way that the work of speech becomes, according to the position of the memoirist, a historical and literary document designed to promote the harmonious development of the future generation of the whole region. Similar positivist attitudes are clearly evident in “Memories .. “, whose style has certain features of court protocol and obvious masking of authorial individualism, and the text is oversaturated with numbers and information of non-contentious content, which collectively reflects the concept of the positivist memoirist.
